Brain FM Review: Full User Guide + Free Trial (Update 2024)

Categories:

Over the past several years, binaural beats have become very popular as a way to help people increase focus and enhance productivity.

The whole idea behind binaural beats is that they change your brain’s frequency, to help you gain these benefits naturally.

Brain FM is one of the main providers of these “binaural beats,” among others, such as Binaural Beats Meditation and Life Flow.

I’ve been using the Brain.fm app over the past two years, as a way to increase my focus, productivity, and energy levels. Here’s my review.

How Does Brain.fm Work?

binaural beats for focus

In case you haven’t heard, binaural beats are basically when you play two different frequencies in each ear, which affects your brain.

See, your brain has multiple different frequencies:

  • Beta (14-30 Hz)
  • Alpha (9-13 Hz)
  • Theta (4-8 Hz)
  • Delta (1-3 Hz)

Depending on which frequency your brain is operating in, you may find it either easy or difficult to focus, be productive, or fall asleep [R].

This is where binaural beats come in. They effectively “trick” your brain into entering a certain frequency, so you can focus on demand.

Binaural beats aren’t just for focus, though. You can also use them to fall asleep faster, be more productive, and learn how to meditate.

Using binaural beats, like the ones provided by the Brain FM app, is a great way to help improve focus, relax easier, or even improve sleeping.

My Brain FM Experience

Overall, I’ve tried binaural beats from pretty much everywhere. I’ve tried Life Flow, Binaural Beats Meditation, and a ton of other free ones.

The best music I’ve found so far is Brain FM. They are far superior to the competition, not only in terms of price, but in terms of effectiveness.

Brain.fm literally costs less than 10% of the competition, they use AI to custom-tailor their beats, and they even offer a free trial for you.

Overall, I really can’t think of anything bad to say about them. Their beats are highly effective, backed by science, and literally dirt cheap.

My Brain.fm Review

There’s a ton of other binaural beats services out there, and I’m sure you’ve heard of them. So, the question is then, what makes Brain FM stand out?

Why I Love Brain.fm Tracks

  • Subscription Based Service
  • Tons of Binaural Beats Tracks
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Music to Help Focus, Sleep, & More

In my opinion, the Brain.fm app is the best place to get binaural beats on the planet, and I’ve tried pretty much all of them out there.

Let’s go a little bit more in-depth, here. Below are some of the reasons why I love using the Brain.fm app, and use it every day to focus and relax.

Brain.fm Pricing

The biggest reason why the Brain.fm app stands out, is because you don’t need to spend $50 or $100 on over priced binaural beats and music.

Instead, brain.fm offers a subscription program, where you pay just $6.99 each month, and get full access to all their binaural beats.

This is in stark contrast to other companies, such as Life Flow, which often charge up to $100 for just ONE set of binaural beats, let alone dozens.

Brain FM is literally less than 20% the cost of most other binaural beats music, and it gives you full access instead of just 1-2 tracks.

Brain FM Music & Tracks

Like I said previously, a lot of companies like Life Flow and Binaural Beats Meditation will make you pay $50 or even $100 PER TRACK.

So, if you want to get access to their full library of binaural beats, you’ll literally end up paying $500, $1,000, or even more.

With Brain.fm however, you get full access to ALL their binaural beats, for focus, productivity, sleeping, and more, for just $6.99/month.

I don’t know about you, but why would I pay $1,000 to access a bunch of binaural beats, when I can just pay $6.99/month to do it?

Brain.fm Artificial Intelligence

Another great benefit of the Brain.fm app is that they use artificial intelligence to select the best music for your own specific brain.

Much like nootropics, certain binaural beats will either work very well for you, very poorly for you, or may not even work at all.

One thing I like about Brain FM, is they use artificial intelligence to figure out which binaural beats will work best for your brain.

You can “skip” certain tracks, and eventually, their AI learning system determines which binaural beats work well for you, and which don’t.

Brain.fm Features

Like I said before, I’m a big fan of bio-hacking, and I love using binaural beats with some of the best nootropics I can find.

They help you be more productive, and in fact, I’m actually listening to Brain.fm music while I’m writing this very article. It helps a ton.

Here are some of the features that come with Brain FM:

  • Full Access to All Binaural Beats Tracks
  • Tracks For Focus, Relaxation, and Sleep
  • Artificial Intelligence Learning System
  • Stream Anywhere, Anytime
  • Full Mobile App and Desktop Use Access

I personally haven’t tried the Brain.fm mobile app yet, but I use their desktop app every single day. It gets me in the zone on demand.

In fact, you can also combine the Brain.fm app with nootropics like Alpha Brain or Gorilla Mind Rush to help improve focus even more.

The app has got a very nice user interface, that makes it super easy to choose which binaural beats music you want to listen to, as well.

The Science Behind Brain.fm

Now, I know what you’re thinking. “That sounds great Jon, but how do I know if binaural beats music and this app will work for me?”

Well, thankfully there’s a whole bunch of science showing the benefits of binaural beats, and even more research is being done as we speak.

In fact, Brain.fm published an entire pilot study, on how listening to their binaural beats can help improve focus and reduce distractions.

Not only does the science about binaural beats continue to pour in, but the user testimonials do, as well. I’m living proof to this—I use it daily.

Brain.fm Improves Focus

Thankfully, Brain.fm music actually has a lot of clinical research and science to back it up, unlike a lot of other binaural beats companies.

brain fm clinical research

In this pilot study, researchers compared the effects of test subjects listening to Spotify, noise, nothing, and the music from the Brain FM app.

What they found was pretty shocking: “Brain.fm can reduce mind-wandering, thus boosting productivity and increasing focus.”

Researchers also conducted a study, in which they found that listening to music on the Brain FM app increased slow-wave activity by 29% [R].

In other words, listening to music on the brain.fm app literally helps you sleep better by anywhere between “24-29%” according to science.

That’s pretty impressive, isn’t it? Thankfully, the binaural beats they offer are not only top of the line, but VERY inexpensive for the quality, too.
