I got up at 1pm today. Not because I had to, but because I wanted to.
Usually I get up a little bit later, but I had a busy weekend. I spent it at my friend’s house helping him record a music video for his latest single.
While I was doing this, I also made over $1,500 from my online businesses. How many people can say they make $1,500 in a weekend, without doing a lick of work? Not many.
Yet despite this, I never got into self improvement or entrepreneurship for the money. I did it for the freedom…and here’s how you can, too.
Your One Life
“I’m just so afraid to leave my job,” he said with cold, lifeless eyes. “I mean, I know it’s killing me… but what other choice do I have?”
We all have many choices, friends. Some of us are just too afraid to take them.
When I was 21 years old, I was facing one of the biggest dilemmas of my life: do I stay in college, or do I drop out?
Staying in college meant a secure career as a lawyer, but potentially at the cost of my soul.
Dropping out meant complete uncertainty, and likely a lot of begging, borrowing, and stealing.
…but it also meant complete and unrestrained freedom.
I think you know which I chose.
We only have one life, friends. So you’d best live it well.
The Leverage Point
The most important thing when it comes to freedom is money.
No, money can’t buy you happiness. But it can sure fucking buy you a lot of other shit.
Money can buy you a better home. It can buy you a better car. It can buy you a one way ticket to paradise, with no worries in sight.
Most importantly however, money can buy you FREEDOM. That’s “freedom” in all caps.
Without money, you don’t have freedom. You might think you do, but you don’t.
So ask yourself: how much money do you have, and is it dependent on some boss wanting to keep you around?
I have no bosses, no schedules, and no deadlines. I live on my own terms…and you can, too.
How To Be Free
The first step to being free is learning how to make money online.
When you first start to make moves on the internet, a whole new world of opportunity opens up to you.
Now, all of a sudden, you don’t need to work your shitty job for a mere pittance of $8/hour.
Now, instead, you can work on your own schedule, for $50/hour or more.
Of course, it won’t be without its drawbacks. I’ve lost thousands of dollars in mistakes, and I’ve wasted years from them as well.
But the most important thing is this: it’s all on you.
Whether you fuck up or succeed massively, it’s all due to your own efforts…and those are terms that I can live by.
The Mindset
To become free, you must first liberate yourself.
Stop telling yourself lies. If I had a dollar for every time I heard someone say “I have to,” or “I really need to,” I’d be a million dollars richer by now.
The truth is, you don’t “have to” do shit. You don’t “have to” go to work. You’re “choosing to.”
Eliminate garbage phrases like that from your vocabulary.
When you tell yourself that you “have to” do something for long enough, you start to believe that you don’t have a choice.
…but you do. Realize this, and the world is yours. You can do anything you set your mind to.
The Fastest Path
The fastest way to become free is to take action right now.
Here’s the “be-all end-all” of being free:
- Decide what it is you want
- Make a plan to get it
- Follow through on the plan
It’s literally that simple. When I was a slave, I didn’t know it, but I knew I wanted more.
I didn’t want to work 8 hours a day to make a shitty living, not really even living. I wanted to live free; free as a bird.
So, I made a plan. I took action. I failed. I re-made my plan. I failed again, but this time, I failed better.
Eventually, I hit success. I recall making $10,000 in under an hour earlier this year. Have you ever done that? It’s exhilarating.
Not because of the money—no, they’re just digits in your bank account. But because of the way it opens your mind.
“Shit…if I can make someone’s quarterly salary in an hour…then what else is possible?”
My Advice to You
I didn’t succeed due to my own brilliance or some unique set of skills I was born with.
Sure, I’m probably above average in the intelligence department, and maybe in a few other areas. But there’s plenty of guys who were born with more than me.
Do you know why I succeeded, and you didn’t? Because you either never tried, or you gave up too soon. Nobody can beat the man who refuses to give up.
I would rather die than give up or give in. I would literally rather have my body go cold, and be thrown in a cemetery to rot, then to ever give up my path.
Your path is something sacred to you. It can’t be taken away from you, no matter how people try.
The only person who can give up your path is you…so ask yourself: have you given it up? Or are you fighting for it?
