Anyone who’s into pre workouts, has heard about Pre Gym. Created by the legendary Jim Stoppani, many are curious about its effects.
In my humble opinion, Pre Jym is one of the best pre workouts on the market right now, and I’m going to explain exactly why.
Here’s what we’ll cover today:
- My Pre Jym Review
- Pre Jym Ingredients
- Taste, Side Effects, & More
So, strap in, grab a cup of coffee (or pre workout), and get ready for my ultimate, in-depth, and no-BS Pre Jym review.
Pre Jym Review Summary
As I’ve said before, most supplements are scams. They’re filled with low quality ingredients, and are pitifully under dosed.
That’s why I’m so excited to review Pre Jym today. As far as I can tell, it’s one hell of a pre workout, with a great ingredient lineup.
Not only was Pre Jym created by Jim Stoppani, who holds a PhD in exercise physiology, but there’s zero “proprietary blends.”
As I’ve said before, this is often how supplements can often get around fully disclosing the ingredients in their supplements.
They’ll give you some “proprietary blend,” of 15 different ingredients, but you won’t even know how much of them are in the pre workout.
That way they can just put 95% of a cheap ingredient in there, like creatine or Vitamin B12, and skimp out on all the rest.
Not Pre Jym, though. It fully discloses every single ingredient on the label, so you know EXACTLY what you’re getting.
So, with that in mind… let’s talk about it. Just exactly what ARE you getting, when you decide to purchase the Pre Jym pre workout?
Pre Jym Ingredients
First off, I’m very impressed with the ingredients that Pre Jym has. While it doesn’t have as much caffeine as GAT Nitraflex, it’s still a great pre workout.
It’s got a ton of different ingredients in it, so I’m going to break them down for you today, and explain what each one does.
I’ve categorized their ingredients into three main categories:
- Energy/Focus Complex
- Pump Complex
- Anti-Fatigue Complex
The energy complex is pretty simple—it’s for energy and focus. It’s got some powerful stimulants to help you push through that workout like a boss.
The pump complex is also pretty simple. It’s just a bunch of ingredients meant to give you a better “pump” in the gym.
The anti-fatigue complex, however, is a bit more complicated. It’s got a ton of amino acids, and other nutrients, that feed your muscles, and stop them from getting tired too quickly.
Most pre workouts don’t have anything like this, which is why I like Pre Jym. So, with that in mind, let’s talk about these ingredients further!
Energy/Focus Complex
The “Energy Complex” as I’ve dubbed it, contains a whole bunch of ingredients that will give you laser focus and limitless energy.
Here are the “energy” related ingredients in Pre Jym:
- Creatine Hydrochloride (2 Grams)
- Alpha Size (300mg)
- L-Tyrosine (1.5 Grams)
- Caffeine Anhydrous (300mg)
- Huperzine A (50mcg)
- Bio-Perine (5mg)
My first impression here, is that the lineup of ingredients is pretty damn impressive. It’s got a ton of caffeine, some Huperzine A for extra focus, and even some Bio-Perine to improve bio-availability and absorption.
While many pre workouts have more caffeine than Pre Jym, I’m willing to forgive them for this, due to one simple ingredient: Huperzine A.
Huperzine A is a powerful nootropic, which increases acetylcholine levels in the brain. In layman’s terms, this means more focus, more energy, and one hell of a killer workout.
It’s also got some Alpha Size and L-Tyrosine, for enhanced focus, and increased energy at the gym. They’re both dosed quite well.
Pre Jym also has nearly twice the amount of creatine as the C4 pre workout, which as I’ve said before, is extremely overrated.
Overall, I give this energy complex a 5/5, due to its highly dosed ingredients, and versatile lineup of focus-enhancing nutrients.
Pump Complex
Everyone wants a great pump when they lift weights. In fact, it’s why Arnold Schwarzenegger said that the pump is “better than cumming.”
…and while I’m not sure I 100% agree with this, let’s take a look at some of the pump-enhancing ingredients in Pre Jym.
Here is the Pre Jym pump complex:
- Beet Root Extract (500mg)
- Beta Alanine (2 Grams)
- Betaine (1.5 Grams)
- Taurine (1 Gram)
Right off the bat, it’s pretty clear that this has a much better pump complex than the one found in Beyond Raw LIT… by far.
It’s got Beet Root extract, for enhanced pumps, and better blood flow to the muscle. This is a natural ingredient that has a ton of benefits.
It’s also got two grams of beta alanine, which is a lot less than Jack3d, but the added Taurine and Betaine makes up for this.
Betaine is a powerful osmolyte that encourages more liquid retention in muscles, and by extent, more hydration.
Taurine, on the other hand, acts as a “cell volumizer,” which DRASTICALLY enhances pumps. The dosage isn’t too high, though.
I remember when I used to take Taurine daily for pumps, and it was insane… I’d get a fucking calf pump from just WALKING!
All in all, I love the pump complex that Pre Jym has. It’s not just a “one trick pony,” with one ingredient—it’s got four powerful pump-enhancing ingredients, to ensure you get a crazy pump.
Anti-Fatigue Complex
Now, onto something more interesting. Most pre workouts don’t have any amino acids in them, which is why, in my opinion, Pre Jym stands out.
The anti-fatigue complex found within Pre Jym is meant to help your muscles “push through” that last rep, and crush it even more.
Here are the anti-fatigue ingredients found within Pre Jym:
- N-Acetyl L-Cysteine (600mg)
- L-Leucine (3 Grams)
- L-Isoleucine (1.5 Grams)
- L-Valine (1.5 Grams)
- Citrulline Malate (6 Grams)
NAC is a powerful detoxifying agent, which allows your body to get rid of any sort of harmful toxins in it. I take at least 1200mg of this stuff daily.
The other four ingredients, Citrulline Malate, L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, and L-Valine, are amino acids that help your muscles push harder in the gym.
They also help you recover faster, too. These three amino acids are precursors to muscle tissue, so they help your body recover faster.
As for the dosages, they’re quite potent. None of them are too under dosed, like is often common in generic pre workouts. They’re all fully dosed.
All in all, I love this anti-fatigue complex. The only thing I don’t like, is that it’s got 80 calories, which will prevent you from doing intermittent fasting.
Pre Jym Benefits
The biggest thing that I like about Pre Jym, is the fact that it’s got a ton of amino acids to help your muscles recover faster.
So, not only will it help you have more energy in the gym, but it’ll also ensure that your muscles are built back 10x stronger.
Here are some benefits of taking Pre Jym:
- Enhanced Focus
- Increased Energy
- Less Fatigue
- Faster Recovery
All in all, I love taking Pre Jym before I hit the gym. It will help you build muscle faster, shred fat faster, and crush those barbells like never before.
Pre Jym Price
The price is a little bit high for a pre workout, coming in at $47 for a full 30 servings, but I’m willing to overlook this for now.
It’s got a lot of ingredients that not many pre workouts have, so in my opinion, paying $47 for a bottle of this stuff is not a rip off at all.
Pre Jym Taste
The flavors that Pre Jym offers aren’t bad, either. They’ve got Pineapple Strawberry, Black Cherry, and even a Rainbow Sherbet flavor.
My personal favorite is the Black Cherry, but that’s just because I like cherry in general. Try them out and see what you like the best!
The Bottom Line
All in all, Pre Jym is a great pre workout, especially for guys who are focused on improving their recovery after the gym.
It’s got a great lineup of ingredients, that will increase your energy levels, boost your pumps, and enhance your endurance in the gym.
If you do decide to get Pre Jym, I recommend you buy it on Amazon. They’ve got free 2-day shipping, and a ton of great flavors.
If you think that I missed anything in the article, let me know in a comment down below—and as always, I’ll see you guys next time!
