If you’ve been following my blog, you know that I’ve recommended GAT Nitraflex as a pre workout supplement for over 4 years now.
In fact, in 2016, I previously ranked this supplement on the list of my best pre workout supplements of all time. This still holds true today.
Today however, I’d like to present a full GAT Nitraflex Review. I’ve been using this product for years now, so I figure it’s about time!
Here’s some of what we’ll cover in this article:
- Why I Love Nitraflex by GAT
- The Ingredients in Nitraflex
- How Nitraflex Boosts Testosterone
- …and more
So, strap in, grab yourself some coffee (or pre workout), and get ready for my full, in-depth review of the GAT Nitraflex pre workout.
Nitraflex Review Summary
Like I said, I’ve been using this supplement for years now—ever since I started weightlifting, in fact. So, this will be a very in-depth review.
If this is your first time on my blog, I worked at a supplement store called Max Muscle while I was in college—so I got the chance to try out all kinds of test boosters, pre workouts, and other supplements.
In other words, I’ve walked the walk and talked the talk. I’ve spent over $1,000 (at least) on pre workouts, and Nitraflex is one of my favorites.
So, before I get too in-depth, let me give you a brief overview of the key points—and if you want the deep analysis, you can keep reading.
GAT Nitraflex Review – Key Points
Overall, Nitraflex by GAT gets 5/5 stars from me. It’s powerfully dosed, has a great lineup of ingredients, tastes great, and is fairly inexpensive.
In fact, I even recommended this pre workout on my list of the best muscle building supplements of all time—it’s been on that list ever since.

When you compare the ingredients in GAT Nitraflex to other popular supplements (like C4, for example), they don’t hold a candle.
…and again, this is coming from someone who has tried dozens of pre workouts, and who literally reviews supplements for a living.
Overview of Key Points:
- Avg. Cost Per Serving: $0.99
- Clinically Dosed Ingredients

If you’re just skimming and want to buy, then I recommend you get the 30 serving container of Blue Raspberry—it’s only $29.99 on Amazon.
Otherwise, keep reading.
GAT Nitraflex Ingredients
I’ll go into more detail on the ingredients later in this article, but here’s a brief summary for those of you who are skimming this post.
Ingredient Profile Overview:
- Beta Alanine For Pumps
- N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine for Focus
- Caffeine Anhydrous for Energy
- Arginine For Better Pumps
- Citrulline to Enhance Blood Flow
- Resveratrol for Anti-Aging
- DMAE Bitartrate for Focus
- L-Theanine for Anti-Anxiety
- …and more
While the proprietary blend prevent us from knowing exactly how much of each ingredient is in this supplement, the overall dose is high.
…and yes, for anyone wondering, GAT Nitraflex does, in fact, boost testosterone levels. CFB, otherwise known as calcium fructoborate, has been shown to increase testosterone by up to 29% in studies. [R]
This supplement also has caffeine, DMAE, and L-Tyrosine for focus, two forms of Citrulline and Arginine for pumps, and much, much more.
GAT Nitraflex Benefits
Taking a supplement like Nitraflex is one of the fastest ways to increase your squat PR’s, boost sports performance, and get jacked faster.
Don’t misunderstand me—you can build muscle 100% natural without any supplements, just from good nutrition, working out, and recovery.
BUT, if you want to speed up the process, and gain an edge in the gym, then using a pre workout supplement is a great way to do this.
Benefits Overview:
- Enhance Weightlifting Ability
- Boost Natural Testosterone Levels
- Improve Sports Performance
- Accelerate Natural Fat Loss Speed
- Great Pumps, Increased Strength, & More
Nitraflex is one of the best ways to break your personal records in the gym. You’ll be stronger, have more endurance, and have more focus.
The benefits of Nitraflex reach far beyond the gym, however, since it’s packed with powerful nootropics and cognitive enhancers, too.
Not many pre-workouts have ingredients like Resveratrol or Pterostilbene, which are powerful antioxidants that improve your overall health.
GAT Nitraflex Taste & Cost
The overall taste of this product is great—they’ve got a wide range of natural tasting flavors, so whatever you prefer, it’s all good.
In terms of bang for your buck, this supplement is also very incredible, especially when compared to other supplements, like C4 Pre Workout.
Nitraflex Flavor & Cost Overview:
- Avg. Cost Per Serving: $0.99
- Available Flavors
- Fruit Punch
- Blue Raspberry
- Cherry Limeade
- Peach Iced Tea
- Grape Buzz
- Pink Lemonade
- Peach Mango
- Available Sizes
- 30 Servings ($29.99)
- 60 Servings ($59.95)
Seriously, look at those flavors. In all my years weightlifting and trying different supplements, I’ve never seen such creative tastes.
All in all, GAT Nitraflex is a great pre-workout, for both beginners and experts alike. Now, let’s explore some of the ingredients more in-depth.
Nitraflex Ingredients
First off, let’s take a look at the nutrition label on Nitraflex. You’ll notice that one serving contains a whopping 7,240mg of their proprietary blend.
This is far more than most other supplements. Hell, just one scoop of this stuff has twice as much Arginine than most other pre workouts.
This product contains a number of different ingredients, but they’re divided up into three distinct blends, or “complexes”:
- Vasoactive Arginase-Regulating NO Precursor Complex
- Acute Energy, Focus, Intensity, Neuromodulating, Endurance Complex
- Clinically-Studied Testosterone-Enhancing Complex
The first complex is basically for pumps. It’s got high doses of L Arginine, Citrulline, and more, to enhance blood flow while weightlifting.
The second complex has a ton of caffeine, DMAE, and even some nootropics proven to enhance focus, energy levels, and sports performance.
The third complex however, contains something called CFB, which is a form of boron—and is also one of the best testosterone boosters out there.
Pump Complex
The pump complex part of this product guarantees to pull more blood to your muscles, enhancing strength, endurance, and even pumps.
Unfortunately, with most sports supplements out there, when you actually look at the nutrition label, they’re pitifully underdosed.
Pump Complex Ingredients:
- Citrulline
- L Arginine
- Resveratrol
- Pterostilbene
Not Nitraflex, though. Based on the overall size of their proprietary blend, plus my experience with this supplement, it’s 100% clinically dosed.
Citrulline & Arginine
If you look at the nutrition labels of different pre workout supplements, you’ll notice that a lot of them lack these two critical ingredients.
Both Citrulline and Arginine have been clinically proven to enhance endurance and heart health by increasing nitric oxide production. [R]
…and thankfully, this pre workout supplement has two forms of Citrulline and L Arginine included in it, for maximum blood flow and pumps.
Resveratrol & Pterostilbene
As if the nutrition in this supplement wasn’t enough, it’s also got some powerful anti-oxidants that even most multivitamins don’t have.
Most people have heard of Resveratrol, which is a powerful vitamin that’s been shown to increase lifespan, improve heart health, and more. [R]
In addition to this, Nitraflex by GAT also has Pterostilbene, which is a powerful antioxidant and vitamin with a ton of health benefits.
Pterostilbene is essentially a polyphenol, extracted from plants, which improves memory, learning, and has powerful anti-aging properties. [R]
Energy Complex
One of my favorite parts about this supplement by GAT is the energy complex—just one look at the nutrition label and I was hooked.
I’ve taken a dozens of supplements in my life, from the pitifully under dosed C4 pre workout, to other half decent ones like Beyond Raw Lit.
None of them match up to this one, though. It’s got powerful ingredients, that are all clinically dosed, and blended for a perfect workout.
Energy Complex Ingredients:
- Beta Alanine (CarnoSyn)
- Caffeine
- DMAE
- L-Tyrosine
- Theanine
- Rauwolfia Canescenes
There’s a lot of ingredients in this product, so I’m going to break a few of the important ones down—and talk about side effects, benefits, and more.
Caffeine & Beta Alanine
The first two ingredients, and arguably some of the more important ones, are caffeine and beta alanine—two powerful energy boosters.
Beta Alanine is an absolute necessity for any pre workout, as it’s been clinically proven to enhance performance time and time again. [R]
In fact, here’s some benefits of Beta Alanine:
- Improves Endurance
- Increases Strength
- Boosts V02 Max
- Fights Muscle Fatigue
- …and more
Creatine absorption is also boosted by Beta Alanine, so I usually add an extra teaspoon of creatine into the mix and take it with GAT Nitraflex.
Regardless, Beta Alanine have been proven dozens of times to have these effects, so I wouldn’t trust any pre workout that doesn’t include it.
The second ingredient, caffeine, is also well proven. I’m sure I don’t have to lecture you on the many benefits of taking caffeine before a workout.
Powerful Nootropics
One of the reasons I love this supplement, and will be a lifelong customer of GAT Nitraflex, is that they go the extra mile with ingredients.
Not only does this supplement contain powerful ingredients that will enhance your workout, but it also contains nootropics, too.
For example, it contains the following:
- L-Tyrosine
- Theanine
- Rauwolfia Canescenes
One example of this is L-Tyrosine, which is an amino acid that increases motivation, and is notoriously hard to get with natural nutrition.
Another ingredient on the nutrition label is Theanine, which is one of the best nootropics for reducing anxiety and increasing serene focus.
In addition to this, there’s also Rauwolfia Canescenes, which is a plant native to Central America, shown to help lower blood pressure. [R]
This is why GAT is an awesome company—they go the extra mile to not only give you an awesome, energy-boosting pre workout, but they also throw in some nootropics to lessen potential side effects, too.
Testosterone Complex
Last, but not least, is the testosterone complex. Many people wonder whether or not GAT Nitraflex actually boosts testosterone or not.
The answer is that this supplement does boost testosterone, by using an ingredient called Calcium Fructopyranose Borate, or CFB for short.
CFB is a form of boron that’s highly bio-available, has minimal side effects, and is one of the best testosterone boosters on the market, too.
In fact, in one study, researchers found that this particular type of boron, known as CFB, boosted testosterone by a whopping 28% in patients. [R]
So, when you take Nitraflex, not only can you get jacked, have better workouts, and more energy, but you can boost testosterone, too.
Nitraflex by GAT Benefits
Pre workout supplements are a great way to get some extra nutrition into your diet, speed up fat loss, and enhance your workouts.
Whether you want to squat more, get better pumps, get six pack abs, or simply have better workouts, Nitraflex is a great solution.
Benefits of Taking GAT Nitraflex:
- Increased Strength
- Improved Energy
- Enhanced Focus
- Better Endurance
- Accelerated Fat Loss
- Boosted Testosterone
- Anti-Aging Benefits
All of the ingredients in Nitraflex work synergistically, to give you the best damn workout possible, and to help you build muscle fast as hell.
I’ve been taking pre workouts for years now, and Nitraflex is always my go-to pre workout. I take it almost every single day, unless I’m trying out a new pre workout to review for you guys.
Hell, sometimes I’ll even take GAT Nitraflex with Adderall or , to get an extra kick. I do not recommend this for beginners, though.
Any Side Effects?
Most people will be completely fine with taking supplements like this, but every now and then someone with a health condition has problems.
For healthy adults, there’s almost no chance of having side effects from taking a pre workout supplement. If you have some sort of weird heart condition or something though, I’d stay away from it.
Nitraflex by GAT is an EXTREMELY powerful supplement, so if you’re new, start off with just half a scoop to assess your tolerance at first.
The Bottom Line
All in all, Nitraflex is one of the best pre-workouts on the market. It’s got a ton of benefits, both in the gym, and outside of it.
Nitraflex has been clinically proven to enhance focus, improve energy, and even boost testosterone. Not many pre-workouts can say this.
If you do decide to get a pre-workout, make it Nitraflex. It’s available on Amazon, and is eligible for 2-day shipping, as well.
